Blogger Style: Ellin boots

W11297 Ellin A

These waterproof leather boots are one of our best selling Fall staples. Thanks to the soft Australian Merino wool lining to keep your feet warm and built on a sturdy rubber outsole for comfort and winter grip, these classic boots can be worked into any outfit.

Wondering how to style them? Here’s how some of our favourite bloggers have added them into their stylish wardrobes.

Whether skinny or boyfriend cut, pair with a flash of ankle and your favourite jeans for effortless off duty cool. Tijan accessorises with all black everything for a chic city look, while Virgit chose this season’s colour, claret, to complement charcoal.

We also love the way Anneli and Chrissabella have gone for a more relaxed weekend look.

For a more polished look, the Ellin looks equally good teamed with skirts and dresses.

Worn in three different ways, Eva, Danielle and Jessica show us how easy it is to wear the Ellin with military, floaty and printed looks.

Into the Wild

Alaska1

A couple of weeks ago we were joined by top bloggers Eugenie Grey, Liz Cherkasova, Sheryl Luke and Courtney Trop on an Ever Natural journey of discovery to Alaska.

Alaksa_Group1The mere mention of Alaska instantly conjures up images of vast wilderness, frozen landscapes and beautiful isolation, this trip did not disappoint. After arriving into Anchorage, we were whisked away to Alyeska Resort, our home for the next three days and the start our epic adventure.

Struggling to sleep with excitement for the next day’s activities, morning did finally come and along with it our challenging hike up to the Seven Glaciers, it was totally worth it. The Monochrome landscape looked like another world while the grand isolation really took us away from our daily lives.

Luckily we all had our waterproof Utah boots and the hike really put them to the test. Happy to say our feet were kept warm, dry and comfortable throughout.

One of the highlights on the trip was dog sledding with the wonderful Alaskan Iditarod Huskies. After helicoptering through the Chugach Mountains we arrived at a remote glacier camp where the super eager huskies powered us through the sheer Alaskan vastness.

These dogs love to run, and every time we stopped, they were so keen to get going again.

The icing on the cake however, was when we got to meet 18-day-old husky puppies. The huskies are bought down to socialise with humans. Mingling and playing with us at such and early ages means they will grow up to be super social dogs. It was a struggle not to take one home.

The next day we got up close and personal to the Spencer Glacier and its icebergs!

Gliding past on a raft over the still waters was so surreal. Eerily calm, with such vibrant pops of icy blue, it’s hard to imagine glaciers are what carved some of the deepest canyons around the world.

To stay warm and dry in such a demanding environment, we all put EMU Australia’s new Fall 16 collection to the test. Here’s what we packed:

W11364-UTAH-CHAR-1

Waterproof and lined with Australian Merino wool with sturdy, grippy outsoles. The Utah was perfect for the icy Glacier Hike and Dog Sledging.

W11132-WINTON-INDI-1

Sporty and lightweight, the Winton booties wrapped our feet in Merino wool keeping our feet nice and toasty during our visit to the Spencer Glacier and icebergs.

W11374-BRUNSWICKFUR-SPON-1

Around the resort we wore our casual but cool, pony skin Brunswick slip-on kicks.

W11308-CAPELLA-OAK-1

Dressing up for dinner was easy especially when we paired our soft leather knee high Capella boots with skinny jeans.

Natural and wild, Alaska really ticked the boxes. #EMUexploresAlaska, A truly Ever Natural Adventure.

Surf check at Shelly Beach

FJ-post2-Sunset

To kick off our Spring/Summer 16 campaign photoshoot, we headed up to the beautiful coast of Byron Bay, Australia.

The first morning, we all headed out to Shelly Beach for a surf check at dawn. The rising sun put on a magnificent show for us, as you can see from the images below.

Shelly Beach is a good lookout point with fun, little waves crashing atop golden, sandy beaches in Ballina, the south end of Byron coast. This break is a favourite of locals in the fishing and cedar-logging town. Continue reading “Surf check at Shelly Beach”

We embarked on an adventure through one of our most favourite coastal regions for our Spring/Summer 16 campaign photoshoot – the Northern Rivers of New South Wales and the beautiful hinterland and beaches of Byron Bay, Australia.

Elyse Knowles, our brand ambassador and fellow WaterAid supporter, takes us through a perfect day in Byron Bay in her EMU Australia shoes. Continue reading “Follow our Footprints: Welcome to our Footprint Journal!”
