Skiing to greater heights in Thredbo

We always get inspiration from nature, especially from our Australian roots. With winter coming to an end in Australia, we couldn’t help but answer the calls of the powdery Alps in Thredbo before they go for another year. We brought along six Aussie fashion/lifestyle bloggers for an EMU Australia road trip to put our waterproof range to the test.

@Caitlynpaterson: “The most amazing thing about travelling is meeting so many different kinds of beautiful people!”

We started bright and early driving all the way up from our Geelong, Victoria headquarters to make it to Thredbo to catch some of the morning snow. While our eyes were weary, it was all worth it once we saw this stunning scenery…

We got to put our footwear through the yards. And thankfully we can report our footwear left us never wanting, toes were kept warm, dry and toasty the whole trip.

…but still made sure to leave time for the fun stuff!

What was the best part of the trip?

Naturally, the snow was stunning –  it was perfect for hitting the slopes, great for snowman making, and snow-angels too. Have to say, the company was pretty amazing – @caitlynpaterson @iamlisaclark @rochelle_fox @rachelaust @rachelleea @ krumble

@rochelle_fox: “…👌What a trip! @emuaustralia #emuexploresthredbo”

@krumble: “❄️Winterwonderland with @emuaustralia ❄️#EMUExploresThredbo”

We swung by Knickerbocker Burgers on the way back to satisfy the hunger pangs…which made a perfect ending to a whirlwind winter adventure.
